When the Cats are Bored
they take it out on the paper products. The kitchen roll of paper towels has long since been moved to a shelf out of their reach, and only somewhat inconvenient for us. But some things aren't so easily relocated.
On a more constructive note, I just polished off the edging at the first end of the current shawl. I may actually have this puppy completed by the end of the month.
Guess it's time to start kicking around ideas for the second one. I have some sport weight acrylic I've been wanting to use up......

I wish I thought of looking at my stash first when I start dreaming of the next project. : )
I have two cats, one of which loves to do this. We have put a small towel over with some sucess, we don't always remember to put it on. She has only found the paper towels once so far.

Bored cats and household items are a deadly combination. Magnus has just learned how to sit on a chair and open the kitchen bin using only his paws!

Toddlers do the same thing with the TP, just less shredding and more spreading around on the floor!
WOW - The shawl looks fantastic! The toilet paper...not so much... Waiting to see your solution for that one... Maybe you need a little knitted TP cover?
