I Am Not There
I thought about going outside and taking pictures of the snow that has been falling steadily for hours and hours. But then I thought, "Do I really want to look at another picture of snow?" No, I do not. So this is a stock photo that came with the computer. I am not, and never have been, wherever it is that picture was taken. But I would like to be there. I would really, really like it.

I just realized I've knit 1 1/2 inches more than needed on the foot of a sock. I'm off to pick back. (You would think that knitting from my own pattern I would get it right.)

Repeat after me: I love winter. I love winter. I love winter. I love winter. (It's becoming more difficult for me to remember that I love winter...when I'm so tired of it right now.....)
It was 84 degrees yesterday. The only February record I've ever seen was 99 degrees on Feb 28th, 1996. I think yesterday was another. We are a little hot a little early, and we have burn warnings out. Someone flicked a cigarette yesterday, and lit 5 acres next to a subdivision.
Which explains why I don't knit a whole lot of heavy wool.
You and Elizabeth could push some snow my way. I've never been a big snow fan but I feel really cheated this year... noth'in but rain. What little snow we had melted right away.
