For the first 8 years we owned this house -- it was a cabin then -- the boys and I would spend summer here. And every summer we would have to dodge turtles on the roads for the month of June. The boys and I used to joke that it was migration season: the turtles were migrating from one side of the road to the other.

Good one! There's just nothing like the local newspaper, is there? Hate to see them dwindling away in favor of internet, etc.
