Oh boy, just missed it
Aargh. I placed a book order with Knit Picks just three days before they posted a huge sale. All in stock books are 40% off. Now do I go see if there is anything else I want? Maybe. I've been putting in about double my usual hours at the library the last couple of weeks. Could be it's "reward myself" time.

repeat to self: Don't go to Knit Picks.com. Don't go to Knit Picks.com. Don't go to Knit Picks.com.
(I'm already thinking of an order with earthfaire.com)
Maybe just a quick peek...
*G* Well, here are the books I would definitely buy if I didn't already own them: Gibson-Robert "Knitting in the Old Way", the big "Vogue Knitting" book, Debbie New's "Unexpected Knitting" (can you tell I'ma technique geek?)
Here's what I did order: Allen & Budd's "Lace Style",Szabo's "Aran Sweater Design" and Wiseman's "The Knitter's Book of Finishing Techniques"
Looks like I'll have plenty of bedtime reading for the next couple of months.
I am not going to look - last week I went to Alibris.com and half.com and am anxiously awaiting my Harmony stitch guide and the Montse Stanley Readers Digest Knitting book - both recommended by Queer Joe. I've gotten some pretty good deals that way - my Mon Tricot cost about $8.00.
Have fun with your reward money!
