Finished Measurements
Hat: 17 inch circumference at lower edge
Mitts: 7 1/8 inches at lower edge
To Fit
17-19 inch head
7 1/4-8 inch hand (measured around the knuckles)
Gauge: 17 sts = 4 inches/10 cm in garter st
Note: size can be adjusted by changing gauge. e.g. working at 18 sts/4 inches in garter will give a hat with a 16 inch circumference.
Yarn: Approximately 210 yds/192 m of worsted/medium weight yarn
Yarn used in sample: Cascade 220, color 9488
