"How Do You Like Your Ribs?" Mittens

Plain or Fancy?

The plain version is straightforward ribbing from cuff to top (no gusset shaping needed), with a subtle pattern stitch variation above the thumb opening for a bit more finger ease.
The fancy version adds a simple cuff of handspun thick and thin yarn. Either way, the simple lines of this quick project set off variegated yarns nicely for (almost) instant gratification.

Instructions are given for Women's sizes Small, Medium and Large. Both versions take approximately 210 yards of worsted weight yarn. For the fancy ones, add an additional 25 yards of handspun bulky thick-and-thin.
