I Want the Book This Picture Comes From
I don't care if it's in Estonian.
A chart is a chart, right? Now I just have to track down a copy. Found a source, but no online ordering, so now I have to wait until morning to call. Fingers crossed that the last copy is not gone. Serious book lust here......

Back to the Vest
With the mittens and mystery Christmas gift done, I've gone back to work on the grey vest. Just a couple more inches to do on the back, and then I can start the fronts.

Super Fun Present
From my great sister, of course. I love office supplies/paper goods; and I love knitting. So what could be better?
A pencil case, pencils, note cards, magnetic memo pad and notebook - all with knitting motifs! (There's a roll of wrapping paper, too, it just didn't fit well in the picture.)
Close up of pencils - too cute!
Thanks Annie-Pazoo! I'm off to sharpen me some pencils.....

Winter
WHEN icicles hang by the wall
And Dick the shepherd blows his nail,
And Tom bears logs into the hall,
And milk comes frozen home in pail;
When blood is nipt, and ways be foul,
Then nightly sings the staring owl
Tu-whoo!
Tu-whit! tu-whoo! A merry note!
While greasy Joan doth keel the pot.
When all around the wind doth blow,
And coughing drowns the parson's saw,
And birds sit brooding in the snow,
And Marian's nose looks red and raw;
When roasted crabs hiss in the bowl—
Then nightly sings the staring owl
Tu-whoo!
Tu-whit! tu-whoo! A merry note!
While greasy Joan doth keel the pot.
William Shakespeare
From Love's Labours Lost, Act V. Sc. II

ETA rather nice commentary on the poem here.
