Now one skein of laceweight is not an oddball, it's a potential shawl. And one or two balls of sock yarn are a potential pair of socks. But what about 2 1/2 balls of Reynolds "Lopi" in three different colors?
I used one of them for a pair of extremely basic mittens.
Sometimes simplicity is satisfying, and I'm satisfied with these.
I hear ya on that one! Simple *is* good!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday Cindy!!!!!
ReplyDeleteVery nice and toasty! I went through a period where I was 'collecting' odd balls of Patons Decor and Classic Wool (and some Lopi). I figured that as long as I had multiple colours of the same yarn, I'd be able to make lots of things (I was also on a felted Fiber Trends clog spree). But, so often, I still don't have the 'right' colour, or enough...
ReplyDeleteI looked at the mittens and thought 'satisfying' - and then I scrolled down to find out that you had thought the very same thing!
